Hottest: 47.2 Celsius (117°F) Death Valley (previously: 106°F Vacaville, CA)
Coldest: 8 Celsius (46.4°F ) Nevado de Toluca, Mexico
Highest: 3,730 meters (12,237 ft) Nevado de Toluca
Lowest: Badwater Basin 252' below sea level, Death Valley NP
Windiest: TBD
Best thunderstorm: El Rollo area of Central Mexico. The thunder set off car alarms.

Unpleasant Experience: San Miguel de Allende (Grumpy Germans in the campground & a sick Sonja) OR trying to get the truck shipped to Panama
Scariest Experience: Driving Mexico's death road near Grutas de Tolantongo
Best food: Mexico City (Chris) OR Omar's roasted chicken, Costa Rica (Sonja)
Worst food: Burger King, Mexico City
Best pizza: Ben's homemade pizza in Acapulco, Mexico
Best ice cream: watching surfers on the beach while eating gelato in Puerto Escondido
Best Tacos al Pastor: El Califa, CDMX. OR La Lupe, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Mexico
Best hotel/resort: Tranquilo Bay Eco Resort, Panama
Worst hotel: Hotel in Cabo San Lucas (2 jackhammers going above us) OR Crater Lake, Oregon (moldy food at breakfast, flies everywhere)
Best AirBNB: House of G, Playa Samara, Costa Rica
Worst AirBNB: A scorpion and ant-infested abode in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Best campsite: Brady's camp, Plumas National Forest, California OR Bahia de Concepcion, Baja Mexico.
Worst campsite: Basalt Pillars (Overpriced and touristy plus pounding dance music till 3am. Sick Sonja) OR Nevado de Toluca. Gorgeous BUT felt slightly shady (cars driving by in night; not secure). Everyone sick.
Best roads: USA, Panama (Highway 1)
Worst roads: Southern Mexico: Tabasco and Chiapas. TOPES!! (speed bumps)
